ancient science & archaeology

The Antikythera Mechanism, sometimes called the world's first computer, has now been examined with the latest in high-resolution imaging systems and three-dimensional X-ray tomography. A team of British, Greek and American researchers was able to decipher many inscriptions and reconstruct the gear functions, revealing, they said, “an unexpected degree of technical sophistication for the period.”

presentations & criticisms

In this section of the website suggest personal reflections on some of the many exhibitions to which I was asked to provide a foreword and a critical nod for artists, whom I thank, who have placed in me their confidence...

The passion to write stems from an innate ability, cultivated since the days of high school, thanks to the care of my professor of letters, but above all is a reasoned from the lessons learned during journalism courses that I attended in the biennium 2005/2006.

Some of my contributions can be found on the web even at www.terranauta.it.

This is a webzine from which I write under the pseudonym of Paolo Marino.
